Children and Young People Counselling
Counselling for Children
I offer face-to-face, child-centred creative therapy for primary-aged children. When your child is struggling with their emotions, behaviour or experiences, it can be difficult to know how best to help. Children don't always have the words to explain how they feel, so I offer a safe, supportive space where they can feel heard, understood and accepted. I take time to build a trusting relationship, working at each child's pace and following their needs and interests. Through sandplay, LEGO, drawing and other creative approaches, children can explore their feelings, express emotions that may be difficult to put into words and begin to make sense of their experiences in their own way. My approach is trauma-informed and recognises each child's individual needs. Where appropriate, I also work alongside parents and carers to support their child's emotional wellbeing, while respecting their privacy.
Counselling for Young People
I offer face-to-face counselling for young people, offering time and space to explore their feelings and experiences. Growing up brings new experiences, changes and opportunities to understand more about yourself and the world around you. You might want to explore friendships, relationships, school, college, work or something else that's on your mind. Whatever brings you to counselling, this is your space to explore your thoughts and feelings in your own way, without pressure or judgement. I take time to build a trusting relationship, working alongside you and at a pace that feels right for you. Our sessions are your time and your space, where you can talk about whatever feels important to you. There is no pressure to have all the answers or to find the right words. Talking isn't always easy, so we can also explore things through reflection or creative activities if these feel helpful.
My aim is to help you make sense of your feelings and experiences, supporting you to find your own way forward. I recognise that parents and carers may also want to understand how best to support their young person. Where appropriate, I work sensitively alongside families, while respecting your privacy and being open about confidentiality and when information may need to be shared.
Each session is approximately 60 minutes long and will cost £60.00. Payment will be accepted 48hrs before the appointment.

Clinical Supervision in Chorley, Lancashire and Online
I offer clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors, as well as professionals working across education, health, emergency services and other helping professions. I see supervision as an opportunity to take a step back from your work and reflect on what's happening for you, your clients and the wider context in which you work. I believe in working alongside you, offering a space where you can feel supported, reflect on your work, recognise what is working well and explore different perspectives. Ethical practice is at the heart of our work, creating space to reflect on professional boundaries, safeguarding and the responsibilities we hold when supporting others.
I bring over 20 years' experience across education, safeguarding and therapeutic settings, alongside my work with children, young people and adults. My approach is person-centred and integrative, with a strong relational focus. I enjoy bringing creativity into supervision through sandplay, objects, images and metaphor, offering different ways to explore experiences and perspectives when words alone don't feel enough.
My practice is informed by Hawkins and Shohet's Seven-Eyed Model and Page and Wosket's Cyclical Model, helping us explore client work, relationships and the wider systems in which we practise. I also offer organisational supervision, creating space to reflect on professional roles, team relationships and the experiences of supporting others within an organisation.
I support professionals across a range of settings and offer fortnightly or monthly supervision to suit your needs.

One-to-one supervision is £60 for one hour or £75 for 90 minutes. Trainee counsellors receive a 10% discount on one-to-one supervision fees. Organisational supervision fees can be discussed according to the needs of the organisation and the type of support required.
